Litigation and Appeals

Our litigation practice involves the following:

  • Commercial/Contracts

  • Wrongful Termination

  • Discrimination

  • Harassment

  • Noncompetition

  • Confidentiality and Non-solicitation

  • Real Property Boundary

  • Timber Trespass

  • Corporate and Partnership Disputes

  • Development and Construction

  • Lien Foreclosures

  • Trust

  • Probate and Guardianship

While our first goal is to avoid litigation, we routinely appear in state and federal courts for our clients on matters relating to all of our core areas of practice.

Our attorneys have extensive litigation experience, including arguing motions and engaging in discovery. While we always make every effort to resolve disputes at the earliest appropriate opportunity, when the only alternative is a trial, our attorneys have the experience required to provide our clients with the level of representation they need and deserve.

Our attorneys have argued more than 50 appellate cases before the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Growth Management Hearings Board and the Shoreline Hearings Board. Our attorneys have handled appeals at all appellate levels.

In addition to our litigation experience, we have handled a number of complex cases through arbitration, mediation or other alternatives to litigation.
